1885 Winchester High Wall Takedown Special Order
Description: Special Order 1885 Winchester High Wall in 32-40. Special features are as follows: Takedown, Double Set Triggers, Swiss Buttplate, Plain Pistol GripButtstock, and Checkered Wood. Rifle functions as it should, including the set trigger. 28" number 3 octagon barrel with a very nice bore. Barrel retains 80-85% original blue. Barrel has had scope mounts added. Receiver exhibits 85-90% original finish. Manufactured in 1908. Both forend and buttstock are in very nice condition, showing only normal handling marks. Comes with palm rest. Lever and breech bolt show some nice original case colors. Swiss buttplate retains almost all of its original nickel finish.
