Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars. Unlike most sellers here, Dust 2 Dollars shows the complete gun in our pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “Pristine” Winchester Miroku Model 1885 High Grade Low Wall Single Shot 22 LR Engraved with Gold Inlays. There were a little over 1,000 of these made by Miroku and this one dates from 2000 - 2001. This is just a beautiful .22 single shot rifle that features very fine engraving and 24 karat gold engraved inlayed squirrels and cotton tails. It wears a 24 1/2 inch half round half octagon barrel with a high luster bluing with a bore that is excellent with no issues. The receiver is engraved with the gold inlay scenes and gold border accent. The very fancy high grade stocks feature very nice figure and the forend has a Schnabel tip with a black insert. Both display factory cut checkering that is in excellent condition as shown. The rifle is in pristine condition and shows just a few very, very small use marks. The left shoulder of the octagonal portion of the barrel is marked “U.S. REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CT, U.S.A. / MODEL 1885 / WINCHESTER / LICENSEE” with a Winchester proof with one on the top of the receiver. The top of the barrel is marked “CAL. .22 L.R.”, the right shoulder is marked “MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU” with the upper tang marked “WINCHESTER”. On top is a set of Leupold scope mounts and rings that hold Leupold M8 4X scope with a duplex reticule. We have shown the complete package in the pictures for your consideration.
