Description: 1886 .40-82 OCTAGON BARREL RIFLE, MADE 1890, a nice example with fine barrel blue that shows a little dulling from age only, receiver has never been cleaned and is now mostly silver/gray, fine deep blue on the bolt, mag tube looks like it's had some cold blue added- minor, fine walnut with a nice deep reddish brown color that has never been sanded or fooled with, one typical chip/sliver on the left side of the upper tang/receiver junction, flattop buckhorn rear sight with typic al Winchester blade front sight, bore is a little dark with fine rifling and only light scattered surface roughness, very tight action, good screws and no extra holes,excellent corrrect markings on tang and barrel, fine appearance overall, $2350 includes shipping.
