Description: This Winchester Model 1886 is a lever action repeating rifle in .40-65 W.C.F. Cal. It has a 24.5 inch octogon barrel with a full barrel length tube magazine. The stock is a smooth grip walnut straight grip and a smooth grip walnut forearm with a steel cap. The gun does have a very nice patina appearance. In overall good condition for it's age it comes as is. See extras for more history. SOLD Antique: Yes Manufacturer: 1892 S/N 70862 Caliber Info: .40-65 W.C.F. Chambers: Full barrel length tube magazine. Metal Condition: Good. Has some handling marks, wear and receiver surface discoloration. Wood Condition: Good. Has multiple handling marks. A small piece of wood is missing left side butt by the receiver/hammer. Bore Condition: Very good. Minor pitting. Barrels: 24.5 inch octogon. Stock: Smooth grip walnut straight stock.
