Winchester 1886 Extra Light High Grade Rifle - Unfired In Box - 1 of 1000 - .45-70 Govt.

Description:
This Winchester Model 1886 Extra Light High Grade Rifle was manufactured by US Repeating Arms in 2000 and 2001. This was a limited production item (serial # 0551 of 1000). Chambered for the .45-70 Gov't cartridge, it has a 22" barrel and is fitted with a gold bead front sight. The receiver has engraving with gold inlaid elk and white tail deer. The left side of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for a receiver sight and the rifle has a tang safety.

The metal surfaces are highly polished and deeply blued. The straight grip buttstock and forearm stock are fashioned from fancy walnut and show a nice figure with cut checkering. Also has a checkered steel buttplate.

This rifle is in outstanding condition. It is new and unfired.  It comes in the original Winchester box with owner's manual, miscellaneous factory paperwork, and safety lock.
