Winchester 1886 Lever Action rifle in 45-90 Antique 
This is an Antique Winchester 1886 Lever rifle 45-90. It has a 26” full octagon barrel and magazine. Standard walnut fore end & straight grip stock with crescent steel butt plate and is sighted with buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight.

Condition:
The condition of this Winchester 1886 rifle is fine to excellent overall retaining much of its original finish.   The barrel and mag tube retain over 60% lightly faded blue showing dark spotting & carry wear in a few places. The action shows 30% lightly visible case colors with the balance fading to gray. There are areas of some of dark corrosion and light pitting on both sides of the receiver but not significant. The wood has been lightly refinished in the past and shows scattered handling marks from use over the years. The action cycles and ejects a round strongly and locks up tight. The bore is bright and excellent, probably 9 out of 10. There is an added # 8 is hand stamped behind the serial number. This hand stamped "8" is not part of the serial number and it is evident it was placed there years ago.

This is one of the best Winchester 1886 45-90's we have seen recently and has an excellent bore considering it was manufactured in 1893. Ready to be used and shot as it was intended and priced realistically. This being and antique it can be shipped directly to the buyer.
