Description: ***SOLD*** Winchester 1886 Deluxe rifle in 40-82 caliber S/N 30421 made in 1889 26" Octagon barrel with full length magazine VG-Excellent blue showing 90-95% Some nice case colors remain on receiver walls, hammer, and forend tip, less on the lever and mostly worn off on bottom of receiver and buttplate Set trigger, steel crescent buttplate Beautiful deluxe wood set with pronounced tiger stripe grain, original lacquer and clear checkering, with some typical handling marks but no significant mars or distractions Sights consist of bead front, sporting rear, and a Lyman tang sight The mechanical functions are all excellent and crisp with exception of the set trigger feature, which is currently not engaging.
