Description: WInchester Model 1886 Rifle full octagon 40-65 wcf - Antique!! Winchester Model 1886 rifle in caliber 40-65 WCF. full Octagon Bbl with a Full Mag and nice smooth walnut stocks with crescent. buttplate. This rifle has a standard 26" barrel and buckhorn barrel sight and blade front sight.. Condition: This rifle is in fine condition with very good bore +8 itas aquirred a pleasing dove grey exterior metal but there is some blue on the surface of the bolt. Screw heads are in great shape. Stocks have some bumps and impressions but nothing overly apparent. The bore is clean but there is some old oil in the action and on the hammer . The rifle could use a good cleaning. Mechanically excellent and safety is strong and cycles fine. This rifle was manufactred in 1891 so qualifies as an antique and can be shipped directly without going through a ffl background check. Nice 133 year old rifle ready for the next 100 years!.
