Winchester slide action Model 1890 Third Model Takedown rifle with a blued finish that has a 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 22 W.R.F. caliber. Bright shiny excellent bore. Most all of the original blue remains with only a very few minor blemishes. Sharp corners and crisp markings. Mag tube is a brown patina. Original sights. Receiver also has most thinning blue with a little plum/brown showing through. Crisp action. Walnut stock is in good condition with most varnish remaining. There is a small scuff on the left side by the crescent buttplate. This is a good looking example that will make a fine shooter. Made around 1914.
