Guns International #: 100413136
Seller's Inventory #: 1488
Offered is one of the finest condition all factory original Model 1890's I have owned. Usually, they are soundly whipped or at best, little to no receiver finish. This one is exceptional. The 24" octagon barrel retains at least 98% high polish factory blue remaining. The receiver on the left take down screw side retains at least 95% of this High Polish blue. Right side retains 60-70% with usual flaking but blends nice. The tube has most of the original blue and the butt plate still retains at least 80% original blue starting to thin. Wood is excellent with no chips and just a couple of hits on bottom of stock. No cracks. Even the trigger guard and bottom tang retain virtually all of their high polish blue. Nice strong bore with bit of frosting. Original tang sight.
