1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE, .32-20 CALIBER, #361XXX, MADE 1906

Description:
1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE, .32-20 CALIBER, #361XXX, MADE 1906. This is a surprisingly difficult caliber to find in carbine configuration. It seems most are either .25-20 or .38-40. The .32-20 chambering is elusive and don't seem to show up often. This is a fine example with good even aged blue on the barrel and magazine, with the magazine blue a little less aged than on the barrel. The receiver blue has turned an attractive dark and aged patina. Correct carbine ladder rear sight with slide intact. Stock and forearm show only normal handling with good wood to metal fit. Action is tight and the bore is a bit dark with good rifling throughout with scattered pitting more to the middle of the barrel. Fine markings and screws.
