1892 Winchester Rifle 30” Barrel Extremely Rare!

Description:
Extremely Rare 30" barreled 1892 Winchester Rifle in 25-20. 1892 Winchesters with special order features are rare, but extra long barrels (especially 30") are unheard of. Please see attached photo of confirmation letter from Cody Museum. Rifle also has Lyman tang sight. 30" barrel and full magazine tube retain 70 to 75% original blue with the remainder a gray / brown patina. There is handling marks, scrapes, scratches, and dings as well. Nice markings and I will rate the bore a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. Rear sight dovetail is filled with filler blank. Receiver retains 50 to 55% original blue with the remainder a gray / brown patina. Action functions nicely. Both forend and buttstock are in good condition, again showing normal handling marks and some bumps and bruises. The left side of forend is missing piece of wood (see pics). The magazine tube holder is loose, but other than that and the forend wood this rifle is in well above average condition. All in all this is a super rare 1892 Winchester extra long barrel that letters from Cody. You will occasionally see 26" and 28" barrel 92's for sale but once you hit the 30" mark and above it gets extremely difficult to locate them. Must ship to a FFL or Curio and Relics license holder.
