1914 Winchester '92 in 44-40

This particular Winchester '92 has a lot going for it, and even more potential. Built in 1914, it is chambered in 44-40 WCF, has a 24" barrel, standard rifle sights, about 65% blue, and a MINT bore. Magazine tube has about the same blue, and no dents. No finish on the receiver, common because of the cast steel. Fore end is original and all there. Buttstock is fire wood. Long crack on the right cheek and off the lower tang. Missing a plug screw on the upper tang. Easily replaced. Action works smooth and everything except the buttstock is tight. Replacement buttstocks can be had fairly easily. There are even some on ebay. This one is a shooter, and should provide many years of good clean fun!
