FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SRC IN CALIBER 44-40

Description:
Standard 20 inch carbine configuration chambered in the very desirable 44 WCF caliber. The condition of this SRC is anything but standard! Barrel and mag tube retain most all original blue with an excellent bright shiny bore. Original sights include a pinned blade front and folding carbine ladder rear. Original saddle ring. Overall gun is in excellent condition with about 85% blue remaining. Some thinning on the bottom of the frame. Vivid case color on the hammer and lever. Walnut straight grain stocks retain most original varnish with scattered minor dings and mars and a carbine style buttplate. Very crisp action. Comes complete with a Letter of Authenticity. Hard to find a 44 WCF caliber carbine let alone one in such nice condition that is 123 years old!.
