Description: This is a Winchester Model 1892, saddle ring carbine, made in 1913 showing honest character, use and saddle wear. This carbine was made before WW1 and just months after the territories of Arizona and New Mexico became states. The rifle is in excellent mechanical condition with a very nice bore. The rifle feeds, fires and ejects nicely. The 20" barrel has a very good bore, with some shine, strong well defined lands and grooves, with just minor scattered pin prick markings, about a 7.5/ 10 scale. Most of the metal has aged to a smooth mottled patina. The barrel and mag tube retain some blueing, while the receiver has very little original blueing. The gum wood stocks are solid and tight, showing many marks, impressions, scars and use marks from brush and scabbard wear. Overall a great little Winchester that has been used, but cared for. **** Must ship to a FFL, C&R okay - please know your local laws, Check or certified funds preferred - However I can accept a C.Card with an added 3% fee. Shipping includes insurance. **** Thank you
