Manufacturer: 1903
Caliber Info: .25-20 Winchester Center Fire
Metal Condition: Very little original finish visible. Generous fine pitting on the receiver, lever and barrel. The magazine tube exhibits some curious spirals beyond the mag ring. The mag tube ring is missing its pin.
Wood Condition: Heavily sanded and filled in places with what looks to be bondo ( a common repair tactic by amature gun smiths) A small crack appears at the rear of the top tang.
Bore Condition: Rifling is still visible but rough
Barrels: 24" Round
Stock: Uncheckered straight grip
Stock Dimensions:
12 3/4" LOP
Fore End: Uncheckered with metal tip
Butt Pad: Metal crescent
Weight: 7 lbs
Sights: Dovetailed blade front, Sporting leaf rear is a replacement of later vintage.
