SN: 839710 made in 1917. Lever action rifle chambered in 25-20 WCF with a 20\" round barrel, front blade sight, dovetailed rear ladder sight, blued metal and walnut furniture with original curved steel butt plate. Furniture shows honest wear, bluing has turned into an even grey patina, bore is dark with visible rifling, action is smooth. Two hairline cracks in butt stock near trigger. Saddle ring is missing. A hole has been drilled in the back of the receiver on the word \"Winchester\". Overall, in good condition for the age.
