Manufactured in 1908.
Condition: Nice and even, pleasingly plum patina throughout. 20” barrel and tube have small flashes of the original blue under the patina. Original front post carbine sight. Original rear factory ladder sight. The receiver has a nice shadow from the saddle ring. Retaining about 70% full coverage of plum patina.
The stocks are in fairly good shape. The wood to metal fit is very good. Average bumps and bruises with two small gouges that don’t distract from the gun. The screws are in fairly good shape. The action works perfect, the bore is 8.5-8.9; a good shootable bore. The gun is very sound and solid and has one good look from one end to the other. C&R.
