WINCHESTER 1892 RIFLE
Description:
Oct bbl, full length mag tube and crescent butt. Cal 38. This old gun has seen some use and has an aged dark patina on the bbl. Front sight has been slightly modified. The rear sight is a replacement. The long shank sight looks almost like a Marlin type but it is of the period. Receiver also has a deep patina with some roughness and pitting throughout. Color is a grey/brown. Butt stock has a repair in the wrist area and has been refinished. A couple of cracks coming off the upper tang. Forearm wood has a chip out of the front right hand corner. A light crack coming off the left hand side towards the receiver. Bore dark and needs a good cleaning.
