WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 RIFLE CHAMBERED IN 25-20
Description:
24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber with a very good bore that is bright and shiny with decent rifling. Full length magazine. Barrel and magazine show 80% finish with some scattered light freckles and handling marks. Sights include a replacement brass bead front and a flattop sporting rear. Receiver shows about a 60% thinning finish with 2 plugged holes on the left side and 1 on the upper tang. Walnut stocks are clean and solid with minimal handling marks and a small crack on the right side next to the upper tang. Equipped with a crescent rifle butt plate. Manufactured in 1905.
