WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN 38 WCF
Description:
20 inch barrel shows 95% original blue. Excellent bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Upgraded sights include an Ivory bead pinned blade front, a Lyman two leaf folding rear and a Lyman combination tang sight. Receiver is marked MOD./1892 on upper tang behind the hammer and shows 85% blue with light wear and handling marks having only a faint ghost ring from saddle ring wear. Lever and hammer show a good deal of the color case hardened finish. Walnut stocks are solid and full fitting with only minimal wear and light handling marks. It’s hard to find carbines in this high condition. Manufactured in 1909.
