Description:
20 inch round barrel carbine configuration chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber with a shiny bore with some scattered light roughness. Barrel and full length magazine tube have thinning blue fading to brown. Sights include a pinned blade front and folding ladder carbine rear. Receiver appears to have been cleaned long ago and is turning a gray patina with some light spots of pitting. Loading gate is a blue/gray. Hammer is gray and the lever is more of a brown. Crisp action. Gumwood forearm has some wear and handling mars. Buttstock has some handling mars with numerous indentations with a carbine style buttplate. Manufactured in 1908. Should be a good shooter with lots of character.
