Description:
This gun appears to be a composition. Overall it looks pretty good. All the parts don't match. Wood is very nice with a rifle style buttplate. Receiver has traces of blue. The octagon barrel has several pits and signs of abuse. It is a correct short rifle barrel with a folding leaf rear sight and typical front sight. Bore is dark. This is still an okay specimen of a pretty scarce gun. My instincts tell me this gun has been helped along the road with the unmatched parts.
