Description: 26 inch half octagon barrel, Ivory bead front sight and flat top sporting rear. Half length/button tube magazine. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with a crescent rifle buttplate. Very good condition overall with the barrel showing about 70% original blue with light handling marks and thinning at the edges. Near bright bore with strong rifling. Receiver has been treated with a browning solution over traces of original finish and now appears a somewhat mottled brown with thinning in places. Action is crisp and tight with positive lockup. Stocks are solid and full fitting with a light coat of finish added over old handling marks. Manufactured in 1916.
