Here is a really beautiful 1894 Winchester Deluxe rifle in .30wcf. Serial # 24751 puts the gun at 1897. Included Cody letter confirms current configuration.

Oil Finish (Deluxe) Wood
The bore is excellent and action is smooth. Rear sight dovetail is filled and there is a very nice tang sight installed. I do not believe this gun was shot much at all. The only down side is I believe the receiver and barrel have been professionally refinished as it doesn't appear to be original Winchester blueing. That being said, I believe the stock finish is original. The gun is absolutely gorgeous. I have never shot the gun as in my opinion it is too nice to shoot. Please see photos.
