We offer you a “1946” Winchester model 94 Carbine Chambered in 32 W.S. (Winchester Special) that was manufactured in 1946. This model 94 Winchester wears the serial number of 1368674 which puts the year of manufacture right at 1946. 1946 The left side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA / WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL / WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK – MODEL 94 – 32 W.S.”, the top has “WP” in oval, found again on the top of the receiver. The underside of the receiver is marked with the serial number with the trigger plate marked “OM”. The 20 inch barrel has a bright bore with no issues. The bluing is in very fine condition with some light scattered freckling. The stocks are solid with no chips, cracks or repairs. As you can see a coat of varnish has been added on the wood some time ago. This is a very fine example of a model 94 that is 75 years old and has a lifetime of hunting still in it. SALE PENDING!
