Description:
Nice antique 1894 Winchester in the 70k serial range built in 1896. It has all the desirable features including oct bbl, full length mag and crescent buttplate. On top of that, this gun has a lot of condition with 90%+ blue remaining on the bbl. A little wear to the high spots. All markings are very good. Blue is in nice condition. Mag tube also exhibits some blue with some wear to the bottom side. Even the forearm cap retains 50%+ blue. In most cases the frame would be quite grey but this one has about 60% on the right and a bit better on the left side. Blue is thinning somewhat but still there and very attractive looking. Cal 30. Bore is VG+. Nice fitting good cond wood. A very handsome old Winchester!
