26" octagon barrel
Lands and grooves present
Made in 1896 (Early Second Year Production)
Special order: Shotgun butt plate
Special order: deluxe checkered pistol grip stock with horn grip cap (checkering on pistol grip and forend present but worn)
Original blue on receiver remain on recessed areas, mostly turned plum brown
Screws are in good shape and not marred
Action functions well, tight lock up
Buckhorn rear sight, standing brass bead front sight
Butt stock and forend wood tight to metal and no splits or checks apparent
65% of original bluing remains on barrel
50% original blue on magazine tube (has a dent present 1/2 way in middle of tube, should not affect feeding)
Barrel address is very clear and legible
Plain trigger
