Winchester Model 1894 Rifle 32 Special Mfg 1905 C&R 80-85%
Description: Serial #270746, .32 Winchester Special, 26 inch round barrel with a very good to near excellent lightly frosted bore with very strong rifling. This is a Model 1894 rifle manufactured by Winchester in 1905 featuring a Nickel Steel barrel made for smokeless powder and is equipped with the Winchester Smokeless 50 & 100 Yard .32 W.S. M.94 adjustable rear sight (stuck in the bottom position). In Excellent overall condition the barrel and magazine tube retain about 90-95% original blue finish with some scattered marks and tiny nicks and impact marks. The frame shows about 80-85% original blue that tones to a plum-brown on the high edges and carry points with some light use marks and scratches. The walnut stock and forearm are solid showing numerous old gouges and contusions on the bottom edge with some scattered lighter use marks. The case-hardened lever and hammer still show muted remains of the case-color. An honest 1894 rifle that remains in near excellent condition. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
