Winchester Model 94 Special Order Rifle Made 1926
Description: ******* Fall special - Free Shipping!! ******* Winchester Model 94 rifle in caliber 32 Winchester Special. This is a special order configuration having a 26" round barrel, 2/3 magazine and shotgun butt with serrated steel butt plate, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, straight grip, blued and case hardened finish, open sights. Serial number 988140, made in 1926. All metal surfaces retain 5% of their original finishes which are spotty but all markings remain clear. Bore is an 7 of 10 with some scattered oxidation and darkness that should clean out with a good scrubbing - rifling still sharp, not worn. Action is smooth with a properly-working half-cock safety. Rear sight and elevator are Winchester, as well as the German silver front sight with set screw. Mag tube is slightly loose side-to-side. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, still tight and even with the metal, exhibiting expected nicks and dings from handling and use. Honest rifle as a collection-starter and hunter/shooter, especially considering the Model 55 was introduced in 1924, which was supposed to phase out the 94 rifle and leave production to just Model 94 carbines. No international sales. Must ship to FFL or C&R license (recent changes in NY State law requires shipment to an FFL only if going to a NY State buyer).
