Description:
22 inch round barrel. 5 shot box magazine. Original straight grip buttstock fit with trapdoor carbine style buttplate. Sporterized with custom features including modified original finger grooved forearm fit with a Schnabel shaped horn tip, The saddle ring and stud have been removed along with the upper hand-guard and the original rear sight to accommodate sight upgrades including a Lyman No. 41 on the left side of the receiver paired with a Marbles Sheard pinned blade front sight. Finished off with sling eyes added to the carbine band and stock. Good condition overall with mostly clean smooth metal surfaces showing about 70% re-blued finish. Bore is bright and shiny with decent rifling showing a faint ring a couple inches back from the muzzle. Horn forearm tip shows a crack with chip missing and the buttstock shows a repaired crack on the right side coming off the upper tang. Manufactured in 1929
