Winchester 1895, .30 U.S. 1903 (.30-03 )
Description:
This 1895 Winchester is chambered for the .30 cal 1903 which was the precursor to the 30-06. It has had a refinish job on the metal and wood and a few screw heads are marred.The receiver was drilled for a side mount scope and at some point a tang sight was installed and then removed leaving the replacement tang screw in, which is about an 1/8" too long.The front tang screw is also a left over from the tang sight once placed there.
