Listed is a Winchester model 1895 chambered in the powerful 405 Win. with a mint/bright bore and 85% of original receiver/lever bluing/even patina and 95% bluing on 24" barrel manufactured in 1904, (serial # 47085) first year production. The forearm and buttstock are in excellent solid condition with a metal cresent buttplate attached and a small imperfection noticed in the upper tang area, appears to be factory blemish, as seen in attached photos.  The sights appear correct for this early era rifle and the action is smooth and strong; a beautiful iconic Winchester 1895 in 405 Win. don't hesitate on this first year rifle for your collection.
