Description:
Winchester Model 1906 pump-action rifle chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle. This takedown model features a 20-inch round barrel and full-length tubular magazine. Manufacture date is 1914. The rifle has a worn brownish-gray patina on the barrel and magazine tube, with scattered light rust and surface scratches. The receiver shows a similar aged brown-black finish with visible edge wear and thinning. The bore condition is noted as very good.
The walnut stock set includes a grooved forearm and plain buttstock that have had additional finish applied. Both show handling marks, small dings, and areas of finish wear consistent with use. The rifle retains its original Winchester-marked buttplate. Factory-style front and rear sights remain installed. This Model 1906 is used and displays typical cosmetic wear for its age while maintaining its original configuration.
Included features are the original takedown design and tubular magazine. Production of the Model 1906 occurred from 1906 through 1932, and this example qualifies for Curio & Relic status. No additional accessories or packaging are specified.
