This fine Winchester .22LR Model 52 Target Rifle is circa 1937. The 28"" standard weight target barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. This rifle is equipped with a very well made hooded front sight with removable front and rear ends and a removable center peep. The receiver peep sight is by the Vaver Corporation, Chicago. The barrel has two scope blocks mounted on it. The gun has approx. 95% blue with the trigger guard and barrel band fading. The stock is fine with light usage dents and dings. The magazine, with the 1919 patent date, is correct for the era. Both sling swivels are present. The action functions correctly.
