This is a very nice example of a Winchester model 54, the predecessor to the model 70 pre-64. The rear bridge has not been drilled. There is a Lyman 48 WJS peep sight, 22g open sight, and a gold bead front sight. Comes with a .30-GOV'T-06 nickel steel 24" barrel. Bluing is good to very good. The bore is strong with well-defined lands and grooves. It is bright and shiny. The wood has been refinished at some point in time. Well done. The bolt functions perfectly and locks up tight. A nice example of a Model 54. Make a great collectible or shooter. Shipping $75.00 to lower 48.
