WINCHESTER MODEL 54 BOLT ACTION RIFLE CHAMBERED FOR .30 GOV’T’06

24 inch round barrel showing standard Winchester Nickel Steel barrel markings with “.30 GOV’T’06.” marked on left side of chamber. Sights include a pinned blade in post front with brass bead, a Two leaf folding rear and a Lyman No. 48-W  receiver sight. Bolt is numbered to match the rifle. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Schnabel tipped fore end fit with sling eyes and a ribbed steel buttplate. Very good condition overall with mostly clean smooth metal surfaces showing about 80% finish with light wear and handling marks. Bore is excellent, bright shiny with decent rifling. Stock shows a tightly glued repair at top left wrist area with otherwise typical wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1927
