This is a Winchester Model 55 lever action take-down rifle with a 24-inch barrel in 32 WS caliber. The gun is in overall good condition. As most old guns it does have patina and freckling on the receiver and barrel. However, the inside of the barrel is bright and shiny with very good rifling. The action is smooth and tight. The trigger works well and has a smooth pull. The gun comes with a receiver sight which provides better accuracy than open sights. There is a sling attached that is in good condition. The caliber of this gun in 32WS is rare. If you are in the market for a model 55 take a close look at this gun.
