WINCHESTER MODEL 55 TAKE DOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN 30 WCF
Description:
24 inch round barrel. Sights include a brass bead front and a semi-buckhorn sporting rear with a Marbles peep sight mounted on the tang. Half length tube magazine. Takedown receiver. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with ribbed steel shotgun style butt plate. Near excellent condition overall with the metal surfaces being mostly clean and smooth showing 80-90% finish with light handling marks. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with strong rifling. Action is crisp and tight. The stocks are solid and full fitting with typical wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1928.
