Winchester M61, Oct. Barrel, Rare .22 W.R.F. Cal.  c.1938  Exc. Cond.

Description:
        *** PRICE REDUCED ***  This beautiful Winchester Model 61 was made in 1938, 86 years ago. It has been carefully maintained and stored for those many years and remains in beautiful condition. The bore looks new, bright and shiny, and the action is very smooth and tight.
The wood has some very minor handling marks to the original finish consistent with its age. The metal surface original finish is excellent with minor edge wear. The receiver bottom has some minor browning at the balance point from carrying.
The Weaver 330 scope has fine cross hairs and the optics are clear. I suspect the original owner may have had the scope mounted to the rifle. The scope is from the same time as the rifle. It was a very popular scope, and many were obtained from commercial sources for use by the military. Early in WW2 these Weaver 330 scopes were used on the Remington M-1903A4 sniper rifle. When later manufactured for the U.S. Military the name was changed to M73-B1

SHIPPING: 
Shipments are made via U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, Insured, with Signature required. Shipping and Insurance cost for this Long Gun is $60.00.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

Your complete satisfaction is assured, see objective above.  If you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3 days of receipt.  Please don’t fire the weapon, safety, function and accuracy are NOT Guaranteed.  Any weapon offered by Beaver Creek Arms is never test fired nor is there any representation the gun is functional and safe to fire.  These guns are sold as collectors and only represented as used firearms that must be checked by a competent person, observe all the necessary safety precautions prior to attempting to load and fire one of these weapons.
RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded
 PAYMENT: 
Bank check, Personal check, and Money Orders are preferred. Visa and MasterCard are accepted with a 4% processing fee
 LAYAWAYS: 
A 20% deposit is required.  Balance is due in 30 days. Deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited after 40 days.  Layaway sales are returnable for merchandise credit only.
SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in state purchases. The payment of other states sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyers responsibility.
