This rifle was built by JEBS Arms from a Romanian parts kit that was imported into the US. Originally, this was a Romanian Md.63 AKM, a derivative of the Russian-pattern stamped-receiver AK. This rifle kit was rebuilt with a new American nitrided barrel and a new receiver. The new rifle model is the JEBS Arms JS-47 (no listing available via guns). This rifle was properly head-spaced and test-fired by the manufacturer in MO. Please note the forward-grip wooden \"dong,\" which is a giveaway for this being a Model 63 AK. The laminate wooden furniture still sports the vintage patina, and even some \"trench art.\" This rifle could be considered to be on par with the imported and venerated Romanian WASR-10/63.
