Winchester Model 64 1951 Totally Original Beauty Like Model 94 with pistol Grip Rifle Not Carbine 32 Winchester Special

Right out ot he deer woods of the Northeast, this is the lst 64 we've had in quite a while. This totally original and well cared for beauty is 71 yrs old and in an honest 85% or perhaps better condtion with only normal hunting marks, not used much. No rust ot pitting or damage of any type. Some loss of blue on mag tube and compression marks on left side of butt stock but otherwise very nice. This gun came to us from a friend and has not been fired or used in 50 yrs.
For those who are unfarmiliar with Win 64's they are among the most handsome of all of the Winchester lever actions and were chambered in a variety of cals including Zipper. They share the recevier with 94's but have graceful pistol grip stocks (wth steel butt plate) and corespondingly simmilarly graceful cured lever and are distinquished by half magazine vs most 94's which have full mags and most but not all are handsome rifles not carbines although some were made as carbines. This one is the rifle verson with 24" barrel. 
It still has the front site hood!
This one also has handy, and functional Lyman Peep site mounted in factory holes.
At a time when unremarkable pre 1964 model 94's are often selling for 1000.00 or more this is a sceaming bargain for any who want a collectable Winchester  that is not so pristine that it cannot be taken hunting .
