******SOLD****Up for sale I have an extremely RARE Winchester model 64 carbine chambered in 32-40 cal. This rifle is definitely a special ordered gun with the options it has. #1 it is in the rarest caliber that they ever offered. #2 it has factory deluxe sling swivels. I've seen very few standard rifles that were ordered with deluxe style sling swivels and bases. All barrel markings and proof marks are sharp and crisp, and the rifle is in outstanding original untouched condition. The wood on this rifle is exceptional for a model 64 with a lot of figure and grain which is very uncommon for this model. This rifle was produced during a time that the records are not available but it looks like it was made in 1944 by looking at the records and years up to the missing numbers. According to Bert Hartmans research and article on model 64 rifles, he has only encountered 83 32-40 rifles combined in all variations of the 64 rifle. That is .12% of total production of roughly 67,000 model 64 rifles. This is the rarest model 64 that I've ever seen offered for sale. Everything on this little rifle checks out including the proper woood finish for the year and proper rust bluing. It also has the proper shorter front sight ramp exactly like all carbines should have. This is a true investment piece and will continue to climb rapidly in value.
