Winchester Model 69a genuine MATCH Grade
Description: Winchester 69A MATCH grade .22 LR with 25" barrel and factory original 5 shot magazine. There were no serial numbers issued to any of this model. Genuine 69A match grades such as this are exceedingly difficult to find. This one has all of the correct features and unique caliber stamp as follows: Shark fin front sight, no rear sight dovetail milled in barrel, Lyman 57EW receiver sight, 1 1/4" sling swivels, and most importantly the barrel is stamped "22 L. RIFLE" which was a unique marking reserved for true match grades only. There is also a non factory inscription electro penciled on barrel (C.S.G.203) which I have been told told once identified the rifle as the property of Connecticut State Guard. Overall condition is 85- 90% with all original finishes. Mechanical function is perfect and the bore is excellent. A super scarce substyle of one of Winchester's most outstanding and favored model .22 rifles. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
