Available for purchase is this absolutely stunning Winchester Model 70 Featherweight chambered in .270. Custom work was supposedly done by Pachmayr, but we have no documentation. Finished in a very nice satin blue, it is topped by a older Redfield 4x with simple crosshair reticle. No iron sights. The stock is what really sets this gun apart. It is absolutely beautiful in hand. The feathering is literally transluscent, the grain seems to move as you shift it in your hand. I think it might be the prettiest wood that I personally have ever seen. It has a checkered steel grip cap and a checkered buttplate with a trapdoor. The trap is deep enough for several cartridges and is lined with green felt. The buttplate screws are engraved as well. The attention to detail here is incredible. The checkering on the grip and the fore end is all hand done and is beautiful. There are some very minor flaws here and there on the wood finish, but they are very, very minor and do not detract in any way from the beauty of this rifle. You'll be proud to own it. $35 shipping to the lower 48 and 3% surcharge for using a CC.
