Winchester Model 70 XTR Fwt .270 Win - 1981 as new
Description:
Original owner selling a 1981 manufacture Winchester/US Repeating Arms XTR Fwt in new condition with original box, hang tags, and paperwork. I scoped it, sighted it in, killed one deer, then found a '54 Std Model 70 .270WCF and switched to it for my hunting rifle. The gun groups well with 56gr IMR 4831 130gr Spitzer but is barely broken-in with less than 100 rounds through it. It is in 'as-new' condition with 3 exceptions: 1) There are 2 points of checkering missing and 2) one shallow 1/2"-long impression in the wood finish, and 3) minimal wear on bolt jeweling - see photos 4, 3, & 2, respectively. Set of mounted Redfield/Leupold bases included. Exceptional, nicely-figured dark walnut.
Buyer pays $50 shipping and insurance costs (UPS Ground) to lower 48. No International shipments.
For your protection, I am willing to transact through a reputable FFL holder on my end. Initial contact via e-mail or 'text' is best as I typically don't answer 'calls' from numbers I don't recognize. Item is Used as noted. Thanks for your interest.
