Bore is like new - action is perfect - smooth and crisp with excellent lock-uo and extraction. Metal is excellent overall with no rust, pits, or corrosion and barrel, floorplate, guard, receiver, and bolt retain 100% blue - steel buttplate has a few spots of minor surface oxidation and has 90% blue and sharp, undamaged ch
eckering. Wood is excellent with sharp, undamaged checkering and 98% original finish - shows only a very few light surface marks from normal handling. A super nice, all original classic Model 70 from the quality period of the early 1950s in near "mint" condition.
