Description: Superb condition Winchester Model 70 Super Grade in exceedingly scarce 22 Hornet caliber. S/N 102*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1949. 99% condition everywhere and NO cracks inside or out. 24" barrel with minty bore. I have personally confirmed that the chamber has not been altered to K hornet nor any other caliber! Mechanics perfect. All correct components are present and in minty condition as well including SG stamped Floorplate, Proper swivels, Redfield 255 full length gold bead front sight. etc. There was NO factory jeweling on inner action parts of Supers until about 1955, nor any special stamps under barrel or recoil lug.
