Description: Excellent Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 with factory 26" MH Stainless barrel in .243 caliber. S/N 439*** with matching bolt made in 1958. This rifle wears a beautiful stock with pronounced marble-cake grain and featuring excellent workmanship of fit, checkering, fluer de lis patterns and stippling. Perfectly fitted Neidner style buttplate. The bore and mechanical functions are excellent. Overall condition is about 96%. To even have a stock of this quality made up today would likely well exceed my asking price. Leupold scope bases/rings are included.
