Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 270 WCF in Standard weight, 24” barrel with Redfield Low-Pro (TV Screen) 7x scope. I date this rifle at 1942 (pre-war model) S/N: 32707. This rifle has been completely restored Bluing and Stock, and has an added Winchester Recoil Pad. The LOP to end of recoil pad is slightly over 13.5”. Overall, the refinished condition of the rifle is very good to excellent. There is one scratch to the bluing on bolt handle, otherwise the restoration is completely unscared. I looked down bore with light, and it is shiny and clean with all rifling intact. Mechanically the bolt and floor plate release function as they should. Although this rifle has been completely restored, it would make a great shooter or keepsake. This rifle is from my personal collection, and as I’ve stated in my other item descriptions I’m clearing out some of my items to make way for my differing taste in firearms, so I’m pricing this very good to excellent restored condition pre-64 model 70 WCF to move.
